Hold Your Horses Livestock Emergency Evacuation Response Team is a 501c3 nonprofit team that provides rescues and evacuations for equine and livestock owners during disasters and times of need. Following evacuations, they provide feed and supplies to disaster affected owners to help relieve the burden of choosing to care for their families or their animals. We aim to provide the necessary care at no cost to the owners to ensure the animals can stay in their loving homes. HYH also aides in equine and livestock rescues, such as abuse and neglect cases, rehabilitation cases, and abandonment cases.

A few of the many ways HYH helps the community:

-Provide and coordinate loving homes for animals in need

-Provide feed and resources to owners during financial hardships to ensure animals remain with their families

-Provide veterinary treatment and rehabilitation services for animals in need

-Work with CalFire and CalOES to provide life-saving evacuations behind fire lines for animals and livestock during wildfires and other natural disasters

-Provide and coordinate feed, medical supplies, and donations for shelters and owners following fires and other natural disasters

-Provide community outreach to ranch and stable owners to ensure emergency preparedness

-Provide community outreach to community events, schools, and hospitals with the rescue animals to teach about animal abuse/neglect and the need for animal rescue

The sixth Annual, Boots & Bling, It's A Cowboy Thing! is being held at Alamillo Ranch in Brentwood, Ca, and we are so thankful to Alamillo Ranch for donating their amazing venue to HYH! This year's dinner will include Tri Tip AND Chicken Breast from Brentwood Fine Meats. Music and Line Dancing will be provided by the Amazing CC Amato. The Silent and Live Auction will include Jewelry, Sport & Event Tickets, Getaways, Décor, Equine Tack, Gift Baskets, and More! There is something for everyone! All purchases are tax-deductible and will be helping HYH to save ONE MORE LIFE!
