On October 26th, Bi Pride Milwaukee will be hosting a historic walk through Forest Home Cemetery. Led by history nerd David Kaye, this tour will visit around 20 graves and memorials. We will learn about some of the founders of Milwaukee, beer barons, abolitionists, inventors and more.
We will meet across from the main office by the corner of Forest Home and West Lincoln Avenue. Gathering starts at 9:45 and the tour starts promptly at 10:00.
Good walking shoes are strongly recommended.
As a violence trigger warning, this tour will include talk of Wisconsin’s only lynching.
