About this Event
We are the South Carolina Brewery Running Series® and we run for beer… and BOOS! 🍻👻🏃♂️
Join us for Boos & Brews, a 5K-ish fun run that rises from the dead and starts and ends at Commonhouse Aleworks. Run, walk, jog—whatever moves you! This haunted hustle is for all ages and all fitness levels. Move at your own (un)natural pace, enjoy the fresh fall air, then conjure up a cold, locally made craft beverage at the finish line.
🧙♀️ Costumes are STRONGLY encouraged!
Go all out—there will be prizes for the best-dressed runners, so bring your spookiest, silliest, or most creative look. The more boos, the better
Event Details
Date: October 31, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. (plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early to check in… if you dare)
Location: Commonhouse Aleworks in Park Circle. We’ve mapped out a 5K-ish route that starts and ends at the taproom, creeping through the surrounding area before returning for post-run brews.
Your registration includes:
- 🎃 (1) craft beverage from Commonhouse Aleworks (21+; N/A options available)
- 👕 Your choice of a collector pint glass or series swag item
- 🕸️ Access to all the spooky fun: music, food, games, costume contests, and partner activations
- 🧛♂️ And more frightfully good times along the way!

Know Before You Go
• Untimed + beginner-friendly: Walkers, runners, joggers—all are welcome
• Open course: The route uses public roads and paths; please obey traffic laws and stay aware
• ID required: You don’t need to be 21 to participate, but you must be 21+ to enjoy the beer. Non-alcoholic beverage options also available.
• Event is rain or shine. No matter what, we're having fun
• Limited capacity: Registration is capped based on venue size—register early to save your spot
