It’s Saturday morning chore time at the Martinez household, and Sofia wants a new chore this week instead of dusting. She gets to wash the car, but one broken mirror and some flooded marigolds later, it’s not going well. What will Sofia do?
Sofia Martinez: The Marigold Mess is our book this month for Bookworm Barbs. That’s our book club for students in grades K-2. We read shorter chapter books with lots of pictures. Older first and second grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice family read aloud, too.
Bookworm Barbs is a book party! Not only will we talk about the book, we'll enjoy a snack and do a craft, too.
