This year for Bookshop Day, we’ve decided to give you… a bigger bookshop! Join the party any time between 10am and 5pm at our stores in Five Lanes, 120 Hereford Street, and come see our new expansion. There will be spot prizes, giveaways, loyalty card amnesty and everyone is encouraged to dress-up as their favourite book character! If you’re looking for things for young readers to do, make sure you check out what’s happening across the courtyard at Telling Tales as well.
- Come say hello to your new bookshop, now with more space! Bookshop Day will be your first opportunity to shop in our brand new space, right next door on the corner of the lane.
- There will be spot prizes hidden around the new shop on the day, while stocks last!
- Book-themed dress ups! Come to the store on Bookshop Day in a literature-themed costume, say hi to our staff at our main counter, and you will get a little treat (while stocks last).
- For Bookshop Day only, Scorpio Books will be hiding one Libro.fm Golden Ticket somewhere in its stacks. The lucky person who finds this golden ticket will win 12 credits to exchange for audiobooks with Libro.fm!
