Introducing our Mr Googorium’s Movie Emporium and Bookmarx film book club series which we will be continuing on Thursday Feb 26 with Mark Harris's Pictures at a Revolution in the lead up to opening our video store in March. We also have recommended viewing for each month (yes I am asking you to watch 1967’s Doctor Doolittle 3 hour musical). We have paperback copies of each title now in stock. So join us in gossiping about Hollywood’s seedy beginning. February 26: Pictures At a Revolution by Mark Harris
In February, we will be discussing the birth of New Hollywood. Pictures at a Revolution focuses on the five films nominated in 1963 for Best Picture as a way of looking at the way the film industry was changing in the era.
