Harper College’s Community Education Department and Library are excited to collaborate on a new event, Bookmarks: A Festival for Readers and Writers. This special festival will also celebrate the reopening of the College’s Schaumburg location, making it an especially meaningful occasion for our community.

Whether you're an aspiring writer or an avid reader (or both!), you'll enjoy our activities, including:

• A talk by Laurie Gwen Shapiro, New York Times bestselling author of The Aviator and the Showman
• Presentations and panels about storytelling, publishing and the writing life

• Featured libraries tables - learn about books, resources and more
