Bookish Crafting in the Park: Make a Bookmark or Pocket Reading Journal!

If you're looking for a fun afternoon with fellow bookish people, bring your picnic blanket and join us on the green for a crafting session in the park! Come solo or bring friends, all readers welcome.
Choose from one of two following crafts to work on:
Metal Bookmark: bookmark blank (coloured gold, silver or bronze), eye pins, semi-precious stone beads, jump rings, a choice of up to 4 charms, and assembly tools.
Pocket Reading Journal: linened cardstock for covers, grid and unlined paper for the interior, as well washi tape, stamps, and more to decorate with. Tools provided will include an awl and needles to help you bind your own journal!
Activity structure:
The exact location to meet in the park will be shared day of closer to the event time. The event will start with settling in and getting introduced to other attendees. After that will be time for selection of the materials for your project so you can customize it and use your creativity! The construction portion of the event is expected to take approximately an hour during which instructions and tool demonstrations will be provided for each craft. Afterwards there'll be time to hang out, enjoy the sun, and chat about our favourite books!
