Bookish Board Games

Board games are a fantastic way to immerse yourself in different stories! Come along and discover some of our favourite book-ish board games! Led by our friendly festival volunteers, we will be running games for littles (aged 3+ or younger with adult assistance!), bigger children (7+) and teenagers throughout this session.
Drop in and play a game or two at any point between 1.30 and 4.30pm on Saturday 11th July, children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
If you want to explore more amazing board games, Canterbury has you covered with amazing board games cafe The Long Rest, and board games shop and gaming room Dice and Destiny each a stone's throw away from The Beaney, so you can carry on gaming once the festival fun is over!
You do not need a ticket for this session, but if you would like to make a small donation it will go towards the continuation and development of Canterbury Children's Literature Festival and our year-round projects.
