We're SO excited to welcome back, bestselling author Sophie Gravia joins us in Glasgow for a Bookface Sip & Swap event on Wednesday 15th July at Berlinkys, 396 Sauchiehall Street.

Each ticket includes a copy of Sophie's new novel, a glass of fizz or soft drink on arrival.

About Sophie

During lockdown, she turned dating disaster stories into her debut novel A Glasgow Kiss which she initially self-published. The book became a word-of-mouth hit, topping online charts and launching her career as a commercial fiction writer.

Gravia has since published multiple bestselling titles, including What Happens in Dubai, Meet Me in Milan, Hot Girl Summer, and The Dicktionary Club . Her books have sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.

Before writing full-time, she worked for around a decade as an NHS renal nurse while raising two children, eventually leaving nursing in 2026 to focus on her literary career.

In addition to her novels, Sophie co-hosts the BBC podcast Situationships, which discusses dating and relationships, and her debut book A Glasgow Kiss is in development for a TV adaptation.
