About this Event
Learn the art of bookbinding! Whether you want to learn to create journals or sketchbooks for your own use, or creating beautiful gifts, come and join us for this creative event!
Bookbinding is the art and craft of manually assembling a book from individual pages, often involving stitching, gluing, and covering, to create a beautiful handmade volume.

About the Session
Using the Japanese Paper Place's Bookbinding kits, artist Liz Menard will show you two unique ways of book binding, using both pamphlet stitch and stab sewing.
Each kit comes with enough paper to make two books, complete with a bookbinding needle and thread.
Participants will be provided with all materials to make two of their own bound books.
