"I would say all of the above but in particular the coaching . Sharon gave many tips and demonstrations which made swimming in open water more efficient. I realised yesterday that I am an erratic swimmer at best and burn too much energy in trying to keep up with people who are strong swimmers. Yesterday taught me I don’t need to keep up and slow and steady wins the race. I swam 1200metres yesterday without stopping or standing . Feel it in my legs today . It was a hugely insightful day on a personal level for me ".
