A native South Carolinian, John Rhea is a novelist and retired criminal defense attorney. He was educated at Clemson University and the University of South Carolina School of Law. After serving as the law clerk to the Honorable John C. Hayes III, he went into private practice in his hometown of Rock Hill, becoming a partner in the firm of McKinney, Tucker and Rhea. His first novel, Lifer, was published by Redhawk Publications in June 2025. He and his wife live in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Visit him at www.johnrheaauthor.com
