Join us at the EcoVillage on St Mary’s Road for a fabulous evening of Tudor splendour and intrigue where author, historian and scholar Melita Thomas gives a vivid insight into some of the fascinating characters who populate her new book, 1000 People.
In full Tudor dress, Melita casts her eye over the extraordinary lives of the Tudor period, from monarchs and Knights of the Garter to rebels and witches, from the movers and the shakers to the often overlooked everyman/woman.
Melita is a doctoral candidate at University College London (UCL) and is a member of the much-loved Tudor Players. She will be delighted to answer any questions you have and to sign copies of 1000 Tudor People.
Tickets are £3 per person.
