RICHARD has won two L.A.Drama Critics Awards: one for the play "STREAMERS", and another for "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM.” In addition, he won an NAACP Image Award for his role on the TV soap opera ALL MY CHILDREN. He played the father of his real life daughter Bianca Lawson in SAVED BY THE BELL: THE NEW CLASS.
