Join us for a night at the museum! Nasozi has partnered with the Baltimore Museum of Art Gift Shop for a special evening, when she will be signing her best seller, , as well as introducing her newly-released capsule collection that she co-designed with artisans featured in the book.
This special collection is a tribute to the expert–earth collaboration that defines her practice. Her work, which celebrates both beauty and history, and the book will be available for purchase at the BMA Shop during this special evening. The signing will be open to all from 6:30-7:30pm (and Members only from 5:30-6:30).
There will also be Deep House lecture at the museum that evening (more details in the agenda below), and free admission to all of the galleries, so there will be plently to enjoy both before and after the main event.
Admission is FREE, but RSVP is encouraged. Please only sign up for this popular event if you are certain you will attend.

A Deep House of Soulful Vision: The Paintings of Terry Thompson
Info: Also at the museum that night! An evening of contemporary African American art and house music, presented by the Billie Holiday Center for Liberation Arts.
The night will begin with an address from Franklin Sirmans, Director of the Pérez Art Museum Miami, followed by a rich conversation with Baltimore art fixture Dr. Leslie King Hammond and abstractionist painter Terry Thompson.
