This is a very special event and book launch.There will be an interview panel with Auther Ila Barlean and illustrator Anne Peters along with guest inspiratores and master weavers Ed Carriere and Danielle Morsette
Come and enjoy the Ballard art walk and listen to the stories of coast Salish child basket and its discovery at archaeological wet site digs while learning its history and use in our not so far past.
Hear how this basket inspired the creation of this little special children’s book.
Learn how the illustration were created and collaborations were made.
Books and Baskets and arts of various styles will be available for sale.
