About the book
Imagine how much you could notice on your daily walks over the course of one year. "Everyday Walk"s is a mediation on walking and an invitation for you to rediscover, and fall in love with, the walks and seasons in your own neighborhood. In "Everyday Walks", nature is the main character and the ever-changing trails throughout the seasons from the storyline.
About the author
Karen Vielle grew up in Eastern Washington and has lived, played, and worked in the Spokane area for over 35 years. She has a lifelong love of walking and hiking in nature. After a career in public education, Karen now works as a yoga instructor and mindfulness coach. She brings this background of mindful awareness to her walking and her writing. In 2020, Karen self-published her first book Just Walking: A Memoir on Two Feet. Her latest book is Everyday Walks: A Year of Noticing the 72 Micro-seasons of the Inland Northwest.
