Join us for our Book Sale and Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser!
SAVE THE DATE for our annual book sale, returning for its fourth year, your support at our event would be greatly appreciated.
We will offer a diverse selection of books for both adults and children, along with some puzzles, ALL AT RIDICULOUS PRICES!
Our Scouts will be cooking a delicious SAUSAGE SIZZLE, raising their funds for the National Scout Jamboree at the end of the year.
LOCATION: Gordon Scout Hall, 340 Avonhead Road, Burnside Park, Christchurch.
EVENT DATES & TIME:
Saturday 4 July from 9am to 4pm
Sunday 5 July from 10am to 3pm
PARKING: Onsite and street parking is offered. You can access the the Scout Hall via the main driveway into Burnside Park on Avonhead Road, or you can also enter via Burnside Bowling Club and cross the foot bridge.
Payment on the day is by CASH please.
We warmly welcome donations of books and complete puzzles up until June 26th, 2026.
The funds raised ensure that every young person, regardless of circumstances, can afford the life-changing experiences Scouts offers. We provide a safe space filled with positive role models, giving youth of all ages the opportunity to thrive. The kids we guide today are the ones who will shape our community tomorrow—investing a little in them now creates a brighter future for us all.
