About The Nurse at Baker Hospital
Inspired by the true story of Norman Baker — the infamous “King of the Quacks” — this historical mystery is set in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, in 1939, where Baker ran a fraudulent cancer hospital promoted through one of America’s most powerful radio stations. The story follows a young, impoverished nurse who uncovers forged treatments and lies, confronting charismatic deception and gathering evidence that sparks one of Little Rock’s longest criminal trials.
