Join us for the exciting release of Dr. Paulette Sankofa‘s newest book, Threaded and Seasoned in Missouri: Black Fabric & Culinary Artists. The night will bring together Black fabric and culinary artists from around the state of Missouri for displays, discussion, and celebration. Our program will begin with a presentation by Dr. Paulette Sankofa, before a panel discussion featuring fabric and culinary artists such as Hazell Green, Nellie Fogg, and Michael Batchman, moderated by Almetta Jordan.Thursday Nights at the Museum are presented by WashU.
Following the program, books will be available for purchase and signing.

5–7pm | Food and drinks available for purchase from Tropical Pot and Patty Long Catering.
5:00–6:30pm | Visit resource tables and the Historian’s Corner, embrace your creativity with our community fiber art craft, and enjoy displays by local artists.
6:30–8:00pm | Head to the Lee Auditorium (lower level) to hear Dr. Paulette Sankofa speak about her newly released book, Threaded and Seasoned in Missouri: Black Fabric & Culinary Artists.
8pm | Jump in line to get your copy of Threaded and Seasoned in Missouri signed by author Dr. Paulette Sankofa. Books will be available for purchase in the Sold on St. Louis museum shop.
