Join Governor General Award-Winning author Jean E. Pendziwol for the launch of her latest children's book The Quiet Hunt: A Poem for Young Foragers, illustrated by Risa Hugo and published by Groundwood Books.The launch event will include a reading by the author, Q&A, book signing, and kid-friendly refreshments. Boreal Museum will have activities perfect for budding scientists and young foragers.
You'll find all the foraging fun at the Boreal Museum located at 215 Red River Road in the building adjacent to Goods and Co., home of Eldar Cafe, and Backstage. Entrance on Red River Road or near Black Pirates Pub. Remember, parking downtown is free for the first 2 hours!
