Celebrate the launch of A Chickadee Year, the true story of the remarkable four-season journey of Northern Michigan’s favorite little bird. Written by Bill O. Smith, with illustrations by Thomas W. Ford and design by Angela Saxon, this heartwarming book will be unveiled at a special event on Sunday, September 29th at 4 p.m. at The Botanic Garden in Traverse City.This free and open-to-the-public event will feature a reading by the author, an artist demonstration, and light refreshments. Both the author and illustrator will be available to sign and personalize copies of the book. All proceeds from the sale of A Chickadee Year will benefit The Botanic Garden, helping to support its mission to educate, inspire, and preserve this cherished community space.
