Join us for a heartfelt and historic festival event celebrating the launch of David Clarke’s new book, 'Roll out the Barrel', which captures the stories, spirit and legacy of the Arrow Miners Band and the Buckingham Belles, two much-loved cornerstones of Arrowtown’s cultural life.
This special evening will feature a final performance by the Arrow Miners Band, marking the end of an era, alongside a dance performance by a troupe of Buckingham Belles. A small number of speeches will reflect on the history, friendships and community connections woven through the band and the Belles, followed by light refreshments and time to mingle.
A nostalgic, meaningful celebration of music, dance and community – and a fitting tribute to generations of local performers.
