BOOK LAUNCH: On Tuesday 19th of August you’re invited to the launch of fashion photographer Ida Fiskaa’s new photo book “Echoes of Her” at International Library of Fashion Research. From 18.00-20.00 there will be free drinks, an artist’s talk and books for sale. Welcome!
“Echoes of Her” is a visual journey inspired by how female relationships shape who we are and how their presence continues to echo within us. It takes the form of a map, a visual piece that can be unfolded, opened, and explored. Like memories, the book doesn’t follow a straight line. Instead, “Echoes of Her” invites the viewer to move through it freely, allowing new connections to emerge.
Ida Fiskaa (b. 1994) is a Norwegian fashion photographer working across commercial, editorial, and artistic practices, with personal projects forming a central part of her work. “Echoes of Her” is her debut book, exploring themes of memory and personal narrative.
