You're invited to an evening of poetry, conversation, coffee, and community at The Kitsch-enette. Whether you're able to join us in person at the cafe, or from across the country, you're welcome. We'll be livestreaming the event on Facebook, so friends can celebrate with us from everywhere.
I'll be reading selections from Goodnight, Poet, sharing a little about the stories behind the poems, and I'm delighted that guest poet Jasmine Taylor, aka PAN, will join me , as well as author Seth Dellinger.
Books will be available for purchase and signing. Proceeds from book sales that evening will benefit Animal Advocates.
For the past year+, I've been quietly working on an updated edition of Goodnight, Poet. Revising poems, adding new work, recording the audiobook, and creating an updated collection meant to be read aloud as a series of sweet goodnights. Some of you will remember the first edition from 8 years ago (thanks if that's you!) This new collection carries the same name and themes, but more closely reflects the person and writer I am today.
