About this Event

Part 1 - Discussion of Catching the Light

6.30pm

Free to attend

Editors (and poets) Nicholas Hogg and Tim Beard join us to discuss their new collection of cricket poetry, featuring contributions from Ted Hughes, Simon Armitage, Sean O’Brien, Sebastian Faulks, John Agard, Arundhathi Subramaniam, Tim Key, Ian McMillan and many more. Copies of Catching the Light, signed by both editors, will be available to buy throughout the event.

Part 2 - The Nightwatchman quiz

8.00pm

£10.00 entry per person (4 per team max.)

As ever, our latest quiz will be set and hosted by quizmaster extraordinaire Marcus Berkmann. Take on Marcus’s devilishly tricky (and always educational!) general knowledge quiz featuring a healthy smattering of cricket questions.

WHEN: Monday 20 April, 6.30-10pm

WHERE: The Jolly Gardeners, Vauxhall, 49-51 Black Prince Road, SE11 6AB, (nearest tube/station Vauxhall)
