Analysing Suicide: Reality, Myth, Fallacyexplores the complex social, emotional, and psychological dimensions of suicide, challenging long-held assumptions and myths. Philip O’Keeffe’s work seeks to deepen understanding, promote education, and stimulate informed discussion on one of the most urgent public health crises affecting Ireland and the UK today.

About the Author

Philip O’Keeffe, from Belfast, was born in February 1941 and educated at St Mary’s Christian Brothers Grammar School, Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), Stranmillis College, and the University of Ulster

Philip’s personal experiences include family loss through suspected suicide
