Dorset Museum & Art Gallery’s second-hand book fair is back!!
Thousands of high-quality books will be available at unbeatable prices, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore a vast range of literary treasures just in time for Christmas. With a wide selection of genres and subjects on offer, visitors can expect to find books covering everything from Dorset’s rich history, travel, music, and art, to gardening and beyond. The fair will include both fiction and non-fiction, featuring hardbacks and paperbacks across a diverse array of interests.
Entry to the book fair is completely free, and everyone is welcome to attend. To support the museum’s sustainability efforts, visitors are kindly asked to bring their own bags, as the supply of plastic bags will be limited.
All proceeds from the fair will directly support the ongoing upkeep of the museum and its extensive collections, helping to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Dorset for future generations.
In preparation for the book fair, the museum is also calling for donations of good quality second-hand books. Donations can be dropped off at the museum until Friday 19 November 2024. Every contribution is greatly appreciated and will help ensure the continued success of this popular event.
