Book Donation Drop Off Dates

We are accepting donations of books for our next book sale - East Atlanta Strut Edition! Book donations are accepted that fit within our donation criteria (listed below) on specific dates and time in the East Atlanta Library lobby. Volunteers will accept your donations of books.
Please see criteria below before bringing your books to the library.
Donations Not Accepted
• Worn, Moldy, Stained, Sticky, Torn or Smelly Books
• Technical Manuals or Teacher Editions
• Encyclopedias, Dictionaries
• Readers Digests
• Textbooks, Study Guides, Activity books or Workbooks
• Annual Cookbooks Series ie: Southern Living, Cooking Light, etc and Cookbooks older than 5 yrs
• Antique or vintage books
• Other media: CDs, DVDs, VCR
Donations Accepted (preferred)
• New or Recently Published Any Genre
• Award Winners
• Best Sellers
• Hardcover Children’s Storybooks
• Young Adult (YA), Middle Grade
• Elementary Chapter Books
• Classics (in good condition)
• Graphic Novels & Comics
The library cannot accept donations. And we cannot accept donations outside donation dates established. Please do not leave donations at the library outside of these dates. If you have questions, please message us or send email.
