Book Club: The Oresteian Trilogy by Aeschylus at Waterstones Crouch End

• All books in our study group will be in English, but you are more than welcome to read them in Italian or Greek if you prefer

For the upcoming session, we are going to read the ancient Greek plays The Oresteian Trilogy by Aeschylus. (Purchase the book from Waterstones Crouch End to support the event.)

This book is suggested by our Society member Francesca, who has also shared these helpful videos to accompany the book.

You choose any edition in any format, but the Penguin edition is the recommended one.

What to expect:

→Have a lively discussion on Greek Theatre

→Learn more about the religious and mythological elements surrounding these plays.

When: Monday 8 June 2026 – 5.30pm to 6:30pm. Afterwards we might head to a bar nearby bar and hang out.

Frequency: Every 2nd Monday of the Month
