About this Event

🐾 Love books and cats? So do we!If your perfect Saturday afternoon includes a warm beverage, a good book, and a cat in your lap, you're in for a treat!

Join us on Saturday, November 8th, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM for our next Tenth Life Book Club gathering. We’ll enjoy an afternoon of thoughtful literary discussion, cat cuddles, and community connection in our cozy adoption lounge.

The featured book is by Sosuke Natsukawa. A charming and imaginative story, it follows Rintaro, a reclusive book-loving teen, who inherits his grandfather’s secondhand bookstore. When a talking tabby cat named Tiger appears and asks for help rescuing books from people who mistreat them, Rintaro is swept into a fantastical journey that explores the power of literature, the importance of empathy, and the courage it takes to stand up for what we believe in.

📚✨ Bring your thoughts and your love of stories. Our adoptable cats will do the rest!

To prepare you for a fun Book Club experience, here are a few important things to remember:

  • Book Club begins at 12:00PM and will run until about 1:30PM.
  • Doors open 15 minutes before the event at 11:45AM.
  • Please try to arrive early to get cozy ... and hang out with kitties!
  • Please note that doors will close at 12:00PM. Stragglers will not be admitted once Book Club begins so don't dawdle!
  • If you're allergic to cats, please remember to take your meds because kitties will likely want to cuddle.
