Our book choice for March is “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir.This novel comes highly recommended to us from another book club. It is a best-selling science fiction novel about a school teacher, Ryland Grace, who wakes up aboard a spacecraft, the Hail Mary, with no memory of who he is or how he has got there. As his memories gradually return, he discovers he’s been sent on a desperate mission to save Earth from a mysterious organism that is draining the sun’s energy and threatening extinction.
The novel has recently been made into a film with Ryan Gosling which was released in March.
