The Josephine School Community Museum Book Club meets at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, to discuss “Homegoing” by Yaa Gyasi. It is not necessary to read the book to attend today’s FREE discussion.
Published in 2016, “Homegoing” is a historical fiction novel that traces the descendants of two half-sisters in Ghana, Effia and Esi. Through eight generations, it explores the history, colonialism, and slavery in Ghana and America, across 250 years.
The book is available at libraries and book shops.
Contact the museum at (540) 955-5512, (540) 333-0692, or [email protected].
