Announcing the next selection for the AFP Central Ohio book club!
The next meeting of the AFP Central Ohio book club is coming up soon! Join us for a discussion with fellow fundraisers about books that inspire, educate, and encourage. Our next read will be: A New Era of Philanthropy, by Dimple Abichandani.
This book poses the question: "Can philanthropy be an anti-racist, feminist, relational, and joyful expression of solidarity?" Published in 2025 by a nationally recognized speaker and leader, it promises to provide present and hopeful guidance for fundraisers who want to see social justice play a more prominent role in traditional systems of wealth and philanthropy.
This will be a casual, roundtable discussion and all are welcome to participate. The conversation will be moderated by Natalie Dunn-Billings, VP of Finance for Central Ohio AFP. The first 30 minutes will be dedicated to networking, followed by the book conversation.
