Hey everyone!! Bout time!!
510 Hikers will be reading (rereading actually) Atomic Habits, a book that has earned consistently excellent reviews for its practical insights and real-world usefulness. Many people read this book on their own, but the value of a book club is different, discussion brings new perspectives, ideas become clearer, and the material tends to stick in a deeper way. Growth often happens faster when explored collectively.
This session will run for 8 weeks; 8 Mondays starting on the 2nd of March, with each meeting focused on reviewing and discussing a section. Our first gathering on March 2nd will cover Chapters 1 and 2, along with quick introductions, so that meeting is truly a must for anyone planning to participate.
Please plan to have a copy of the book. A physical copy is strongly recommended since it makes referencing passages and ideas during discussion much easier. The workbook is also encouraged for those who want to go deeper, though it is not required. If you don’t have the workbook, you can always access relevant pages through fellow club members.
This will be a relaxed, thoughtful space for reflection, conversation, and shared learning no pressure, no right and wrong answers, just steady engagement (we all have to miss from time to time but, showing up is a big part of it).
I don’t read nearly enough but I understand the value of sitting, slowing things down and giving myself quiet time, intentional self care time, to read. The book club format helps keep me accountable.
