Book Bedazzling at South Main Book Company

The Last Sunday Creative Circle is a monthly craftshop designed for open-minded beginners and seasoned creatives alike, hosted in the heart of our beloved local bookstore, South Main Book Company.

The mission of these Creative Circles is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can explore with creative curiosity, embrace playfulness, and connect with a supportive community. Whether it’s your first time crafting, a chance to reignite your creative spark, or an opportunity for creative self care, The Last Sunday Creative Circle invites you to experience the simple joy of making something meaningful with your hands.

Themed monthly craftshops will occur on the last Sunday of each month!

on August 31st, we will be hosting the HIGHLY requested and adorably cozy craft, Book Bedazzling!

A few important details about this workshop:

• All rhinestones, glue, tools, and instruction will be provided!
• PLEASE NOTE! Participants should Bring their Own Book! Books can also be purchased seperately on the day of the event through our amazing partner and shop host, South Main Book Company in Salisbury, NC! Their selection is incredible and the shop vibes are unmatched! (if you have a specific book in mind, please plan ahead & give them a call to ensure the bookstore has it in stock for you!)
• Choose a book whose cover excites and inspires you! You can also bring a few different options if you're unsure and let the beautiful selection of bedazzles help you decide!
• Book Bedazzling is an incredibly relaxing and fun process, it is also a process that takes time! We will mainly focus on bedazzling smaller sections of our books during this workshop, and participants will receive a diy goody-bag of rhinestones & glue to continue their craft at home!
• It is also important to note, that this workshop is held in the beautiful, newly renovated basement of South Main Book Company, and therefore, participants will need to go up and down one flight of stairs in order to attend.

The Last Sunday Creative Circle is hosted by Erika Rose, a passionate local artist with a deep love for fostering creativity and community. With over a decade of experience as a social worker, educator, and coach, Erika brings a unique blend of skills to create spaces where people feel safe, inspired, and supported as they explore their creative sides.

As a practicing artist, Erika understands the joys and challenges of stepping into creative expression and is committed to making The Last Sunday Circle a space where everyone can feel confident, playful, and connected. Let’s create together!
