Join The Hound Crew as we host SkyDog Family Bonsai for a GREAT class! Skydog Family Bonsai will be out teaching a FULLY inclusive bonsai class... AND YOUR DOG CAN COME ALONG! Skydog is here to teach you how to plant, care for and trim your bonsai tree! The Hound Crew from Homemade Hounds will be onsite to offer some fun and goodies for your dog as well from Luke's Funny Bone (local dog treat bakery)! What a great combination... Bonsai, Bones & Barks!
(all dogs must have current vaccinations of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo combo and Bordetella)
**One Ticket includes:
- 1 Tree (2 person max per tree)
- 1 Bonsai Training Pot
- All Tools and other supplies needed for class (additional tools available for purchase)
-1 bag of homemade local dog treats for your pup
-Socialization time for your dog during the workshop
-Time to walk the 5 acres of Homemade Hounds (on leash) with your dog
-A chance for social dogs to play off leash in the play yard.
This will be an outdoor class situated right by the amazing pond here at Homemade Hounds. Enjoy nature as we learn to care for some of the most amazing trees sculpted by ancient art that is the embodiment of patience and care.
This unique class is led by Mike Groeschel, founder of Skydog Family Bonsai.
Mike is just a regular guy from Jax that became obsessed with Bonsai and has amassed a collection of over 500 Trees!
As a proud member of the North Florida Bonsai Club, Mike wants to introduce others to the Art of Bonsai.
The name 'Skydog' honors Mike's grandfather, the legendary guitarist Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers Band.
