Welcome to BONOBO, a joyful, bold, and fiercely inclusive brand celebrating the wild beauty of the natural world, including the humans in it.

Why Bonobo?

Named after one of our closest animal relatives, bonobos are icons of peace, pleasure, play, and fluidity. They live in matriarchal, queer inclusive communities where connection and cooperation come first. They're proof that nature is diverse, complex, and beautifully non-conforming — just like us.

At Bonobo, we channel that wild, liberated spirit. We are feminist, queer-affirming, body-positive, and deeply inspired by the wild weirdness of the natural world. Our creations are bold, joyful, and made to celebrate individuality in all its glorious forms.

What we make:

We make whatever we feel moved to make because creativity should roam free.

Our core range is bath salts and self-care oils infused with nature and good intentions.

Statement earrings that turn heads.

Upcycled mirrors that reflect beauty inside and out.

Plants in thrifted pots that bring life, colour, and a little chaos into your space.

We will be offering the opportunity to make spell bottles and nature crowns.

We will have some offerings that Ali's mum has made too! Judith is a Derby based artist who brings colour and creativity to every part of her life.

Where We’re Headed:
We’re proud to be stocked at Punnydukes in Matlock, and our earrings are for sale at Derby Museum and Art Gallery, with more independent shops and the occasional craft market on the horizon. We love connecting with creative spaces and curious minds — if you’d like to collaborate or stock Bonobo, we’d love to hear from you.

Bonobo is part of Solstice Nature Connections. Under Solstice Nature Connections offer guided Forest Bathing+ at Allestree Park, Derby Women's Circle, Derby Sacred Circle and other events. We also have a FREE whimiscal tea party (FREE tickets on Eventbrite). We are all about connection, to ourselves, each other and the rest of the natural world.
