About the featured authors:
Bonnie Jo Campbell is the author of The Waters, a Today Show “Read with Jenna” Book Club selection. Her other novels include Once Upon A River, a National Bestseller that was adapted into the award-winning film, and Q Road. Campbell’s short story collections include American Salvage, which was a finalist for the National Book Award and National Book Critics Circle Award, and Women and Other Animals, an AWP Grace Paley Prize winner. She is a Guggenheim Fellow, and a recipient of the Eudora Welty Prize and Mark Twain Award. She lives outside Kalamazoo on a small farm with her husband and donkeys.
Linda K. Sienkiewicz is an author and poet whose work blends humor, heart, and the struggles we often keep to ourselves. Her debut novel was a finalist for the Hoffer and Sarton Awards. She is the recipient of a poetry chapbook award and the author of five poetry chapbooks and a children's picture book. She holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, serves as Honorary Director of Detroit Working Writers, and volunteers with the nonprofit Neighborhood House. Her latest novel, Love and Other Incurable Ailments, explores anxiety, belonging, and second chances through the story of an overanxious overthinker determined to reclaim her own life.
