De herfstvakantie begint feestelijk met de Bonnefanten Free Friday: Kids editie! Na de succesvolle voorgaande edities is er ook dit jaar een sprankelend programma voor alle jonge ontdekkers van 4 tot 12 jaar – een avond vol kunst, muziek en verrassingen.
Hoogtepunt is de start van de kinderkunstuitleen: net zoals in een bibliotheek kan een écht kunstwerk worden geleend om thuis op te hangen. Voor deze gelegenheid zijn verschillende kunstenaars aanwezig met inspirerende workshops – van muurtekeningen en kinderboekillustraties tot collages, draadkunst en zelfs een mysterieuze klei-kebab.
En dat is nog lang niet alles! Mix je eigen sapje op de gezonde sapjesfiets, bouw mee aan een ecologische waterbaan, dans in de silent disco, verstop je in een reusachtig lakenfort of ga met museumrangers op safari naar verborgen plekken.
Een avond om samen te ontdekken, te maken en te genieten.
Tijdens de Bonnefanten Free Fridays zijn bovendien alle tentoonstellingen gratis te bezoeken.

Kick off the autumn break with Bonnefanten Free Friday: Kids Edition! Following the success of previous editions, this year’s program promises another sparkling evening for curious young explorers aged 4 to 12 – packed with art, music, and surprises.
The highlight of the evening is the launch of the Bonnefanten Kinderkunstuitleen (Children’s Art Lending): similar to borrowing a book, children can borrow a real artwork to take home and display. For the occasion, several artists will be present with inspiring workshops – from large-scale wall drawings and children’s book illustrations to collages, wire art, and even a mysterious clay kebab.
And that’s just the beginning! Mix your own juice on the healthy juice bike, help build an ecological water feature, dance in the silent disco, hide in a giant sheet fort, or join the museum rangers on a safari to secret spots.
An evening full of discovery, creativity, and fun.
During Bonnefanten Free Fridays, all current exhibitions are also free to visit.
