Bonhoeffer: Cell 92 depicts the life of German dissident and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who was imprisoned and murdered for his opposition to Hitler and the Nazi regime in World War II. He spent one and half years in Pr*son before being hanged in April 1945, just weeks from the end of the war.

Since its premiere in January of 2022, Bonhoeffer: Cell 92 has been performed over 30 times nationally and internationally in theatres, universities, and other venues in Virginia, Kansas, Ohio, and Canada. It was also presented in conjunction with the Austro-American Institute and the US Embassy in Vienna, Austria.

This cinematic theatre production runs 1 hour and 50 minutes with no intermission. A brief talkback with the creators will be held following the performance.

The performance is appropriate for all ages, but we recommend ages 10+. Childcare is provided free of charge at the church for younger children.
