You've been waiting. You've been asking when the next bonfire event will be. Well, here it is. It doesn't feel like we've had much of a winter this season, so we might as well kick things off right. Regardless of what the weather is going to be on April 11th (hopefully amazing!), we will have the first bonfire event of the year. Same place as we usually do it at Canyon Glen Park in Provo Canyon. You know the drill: bring your own camp chair and whatever food and drink you want, and feel free to bring games to play in the pavilion.
Come dance as our DJ plays your favorite dance songs. Share this event with all the friends you’d like to dance with or who just need to get out and be social. It's time to spend some relaxing social time outdoors and enjoy the fresh air (slightly tainted by campfire smoke).
We will be in and behind the pavilion on the other side of the river. I'll bring a beverage dispenser for ice water, plates, cups, napkins, and utensils. Feel free to bring a potluck item to share, but don't feel like you can't come if you can't contribute. (Venmo donations also welcome @doug-rutherford-1)
Please bring firewood if you can, and post below if you're able to bring some and how much. Thank you.
As a reminder, the parking lot is a decent size, but it does tend to fill up during these events. I highly encourage everyone to please carpool and come early. Otherwise, you'll be parking up the road and taking the river trail to the park. Feel free to post below to start a thread to arrange your carpools.
