Ever had that experience when you get the invitation list for a party right and it just takes off of its own accord? That’s what happened last year at BONDIWOOD. The response to the fun, high-quality movies and ability to actually speak with the filmmakers and creatives behind the extraordinary output from Bondi made for a memorable experience. We were swamped with people wanting to do it again.
‘We’ve tried to get the invite list right again in this second edition of the festival. It’s quite unbelievable the number of fantastic film have come from the people that live round here. It was very hard to narrow down our selection but we’ve tried to programme something for everyone. BONDIWOOD seems to be developing some street cred, has Scum Valley cool and the lucky meat trays are a dead set winner. One million thanks to our volunteers and everyone who has worked so hard on getting this festival up and the generous support of people in the film industry and Waverley Council without who it couldn’t happen. I hope you enjoy BONDIWOOD 2.
