EVENT DISCLAIMER OF ROUND MALAYSIA ROUND (RMR):
Kindly be informed that your participation is deemed confirmed only when we have received your payment. Once we have received your payment, no cancellation will be accepted and no refund will be issued as we play the role of a coordinator and we engage necessary third parties for our events e.g. guide, transporter. Only when the event is cancelled by the respective third parties and they have refunded the payment to us can we then issue a refund to you. However, you are allowed to look for a 1-to-1 replacement and we bear no obligation to look for your replacement.
Please also note, we need to apply permits to enter certain areas e.g. permanent forest reserve, and the authorities strictly do not allow any replacement. As such, if we have submitted a permit application before your cancellation of participation and you have found a replacement, he/she would be required to pay the stipulated fees as an additional participant for his/her personal details to be added to that permit application.
RMR will always comply with official advisories and regulations by relevant governmental authorities e.g. State Forestry Department, Ministry of Health. If we have to cancel an event due to any adverse circumstances e.g. unfavourable weather, closure of event location, no refund will be issued as such circumstances are beyond our control.
As RMR is merely a Facebook group for common interests, your participation payment will be remitted to the personal bank account of RMR Organiser (Lee Yee Yee). As such, Lee Yee Yee is named under this disclaimer and will not be obliged to entertain any request for refunds or replacements.
By participating in any of our events, you are deemed to have read and understood the above terms and conditions, and you agree to fully indemnify and absolve RMR from any claim and/or liability that may arise from your participation. Additionally, any photographs and/or videos taken during any of our events may be used for legal purposes e.g. illustration, publicity.
