Boldness: A Practice Lab Session

Welcome to Talk to Anyone Practice Lab - A regular space to practice and refine your communication skills - through improv, theatre exercises and conversation games.

Theme: Boldness

You wanted to say something bolder, more honest, more you. But you talked yourself out of. It felt like too much of a risk.

This is a 2 hour guided practice focused entirely on taking the social risk you would normally avoid. No theory. No lectures. Just exercises, drills and practice.

Through fun improv-based exercises and interactive activities, you will train yourself to:

a. Say the thing before you talk yourself out of it

b. Take up space instead of shrinking to fit in

c. Make the first move in a conversation, a room, a group

d. Get comfortable being seen, not just heard

Practice Lab is a relaxed, fun, judgment-free space, different from our workshop sessions. There is no curriculum to follow, just practice to do.

This session is for you if

a. You heavily edit what you actually want to say

b. You wait for permission before speaking up

c. You play it safe in rooms where boldness would serve you better

d. You want to improve your skills in a safe, low-stakes environment
