BOLD Arts offers a one week long, high energy, immersive dance camp where children dive into a thought-provoking theme and explore it through dance, music, and art. The week culminates in a child-centered performance filled with creative ideas, artwork, costumes, and dances created by the children. Campers hould expect to be challenged, have fun, make new friends, create, and be immersed in a joyful artistic experience.
Sample Daily Schedule
9:00-10:00am – Warm-Up and Learn Choreography: Work on the opening dance for our performance
10:00-10:15am – Snack
10:15-11:00am - Art: Scenery design, T-shirt decorating, and playbill covers
11:00-11:10am – Water and trade places
11:10-11:55am – Small Group Choreography: Build a dance with your small group that focuses on an aspect of the week’s theme
12:00-1:00pm – Lunch and park time
1:00-1:30pm – Music: Learn a song for our show
1:30-3:00pm – Choreography Challenges, Dance Games, and Share
