Boggle Game Night at ep•i•logue Books
About this Event
The game of boggle is the go-to word game and forever favorite for the staff at ep•i•logue Books. Whether you have played the game for years or this is the first time you have heard of it, we welcome you to a fun, low-stakes, game night for word lovers everywhere.
New to boggle? We would love to teach you! At ep•i•logue, we will be using a "Big Boggle" grid, with 25 letter cubes randomly arranged in a 5x5 square. Playing in groups of 3 to 4, you will have 3 minutes to write down as many words as you can find, by connecting adjacent letter cubes to form words. Each letter cube can only be used once per word. After the 3 minutes is up, you will compare your words to the others in the group. Score points by finding unique words that no one else has written down, with longer words being worth more points.
Join us on Thursday, August 6th from 6:30 to 8:00, to play, learn, and enjoy the game of boggle. The cost is $5 / person (pay at the door) and all boggle gameplay essentials will be provided, as well as water + snacks. Register by August 5th. We ask that participants are ages 15+.
