Can you believe it!?! This will be our FIFTH annual Fishing Derby at Bogart Regional Park! The weekend of April 12 & 13 is officially set aside for FISHING!
Kids fish Saturday, adults fish Sunday - and there are prizes!
Kids: $25
Adults: $45
Normal entry into Bogart is $10 per vehicle, but if you're signed up for this derby, you'll enter the park free of charge.
Participants in the kids derby will receive a free lunch. Adults will not receive free lunch Sunday for their derby but there will be food available for purchase.
You'll need to bring your own pole and kids will need to bring power bait to use in their derby. (Kids fish with power bait only.)
Saturday, April 12: KIDS DERBY
7:00-8:00 a.m. - age 6 & under
8:15-9:15 a.m. - ages 7-10
9:30-10:30 a.m. - ages 11-14
10:45-11:45 a.m. - ages 15-17
*Sensory Friendly option
Sunday, April 13: ADULT DERBY
7:00 a.m. - noon - age 18 & up
Everyone involved in either day of the derby is welcome to continue fishing at the pond when the adult derby ends Sunday.
We'll stock the Bogart Pond ahead of the derby with trout.
