This two-day training is designed for family therapists who wish to deepen their systemic practice through the creative use of floating objects such as statues, family tale and stories, creative cards and games. Participants will discover how these tangible, symbolic tools can facilitate communication, reveal family dynamics, and open new perspectives in therapeutic work. Combining theory, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, the course will guide therapists in selecting, introducing, and using floating objects effectively within sessions.
By the end of the training, participants will have both the theoretical understanding and practical confidence to integrate this powerful approach into their work with families.
The workshop is also open to dramatherapists wishing to explore how systemic thought can deepen their creative practice in the context of their work with individuals /groups. This participation will be supported by a preliminary workshop introducing systemic principles to be held on the 11th of February.
The workshop will be delivered by Barbara Lau, who is both a dramatherapist and family therapist.
Early bird fee of Eur170 available until the 10th of November (for the 2-day training, fee includes lunch and coffee break on both days).
